Through the guidance and expertise of the therapists from Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Services Department at Anderson Hospital , our program was formed to provide comprehensive outpatient physical, occupational, and speech/language therapies, as well as specialized audiology services for children. This Therapy staff is skilled in the treatment of children from birth to age 18 for a variety of diagnoses. Both habilitative (teaching skills that have never been acquired) and rehabilitative programs (reteaching skills that may have been lost) are provided for children with neurological or neurosurgical problems such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, developmental delay and post-brain injury; orthopedic problems including knee pain and post-fracture therapy; speech/language problems including: language delays, articulation problems, hearing loss, and other appropriate diagnoses. Glennon Care's specialized, pediatric care is available in Anderson Hospital's Emergency Department after-hours and on weekends. Anderson Hospital has added this state-of-the-art program to supplement and enhance the services available through your child's primary physician.
