Anderson Hospital has been designated as a preferred provider by many governmental and private insurance health plans. Listed below are the current plans being accepted at all Anderson Hospital facilities. If your insurance provider is not listed, please call to verify with us as we continually assess new plans. Insurance Card
When you arrive at an Anderson Hospital or one of our ancillary locations, be prepared to have your insurance card and a photo ID to present at time of registration, such as a driver’s license, military ID or government-issued ID.

Insurance/Governmental Plans
Anderson Hospital participates in most major insurance and governmental health plans. We suggest that you confirm with both your physician and the hospital of your insurance plan’s participation prior to receiving services. Many insurance companies, in fact, require you to notify them prior to your hospital stay. If you are covered by an HMO, a PPO, or another type of managed care insurance plan, your plan may have special requirements, such as pre-certification or pre-authorization for certain procedures. Each healthcare plan has its own set of rules, participating physicians and hospitals, radiology centers, and laboratories. It is your responsibility to ensure your plan's requirements are met in order to receive maximum reimbursement. For more information on your insurance plan’s coverage or authorization requirements, we recommend that you or a family member contact your insurance company directly.
