Receiving care in the comforts of your home with the support of professional home care personnel is an excellent and certainly cost effective approach to meeting your health care needs. Anderson Home Health Services offers a full range of services provided by registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and medical social workers. All services are performed under the direction of your healthcare provider.
Care provided by the Registered Nurse is directed toward:

- patient/caregiver education
Care provided by the Physical Therapist is directed toward:
- therapeutic exercise

Care provided by the Occupational Therapist is directed toward:
- energy conservation
- daily skills training
- sensory treatment
- splinting
- use of adaptive equipment
- upper extremity strengthening

Care provided by the Speech Therapist is directed toward:
- voice disorders
- speech articulation disorders
- language disorders
- non verbal communication
- swallowing difficulties
- stroke rehabilitation
Care provided by the Social Worker is directed toward:
- available to consult for complex issues
The frequency of visits by the home care staff is determined by your healthcare team, in collaboration with your healthcare provider. The patient and caregivers are expected to actively participate in the plan of care. The patient and caregivers have a key voice in determining the initial care plan and changes made to that plan.
